Production technology of micro silicon powder for honeycomb ceramics
Silicon micro powder for honeycomb ceramics, honeycomb ceramic carrier for automobile exhaust purification, alumina, silicon micro powder and other materials are prepared by mixing, extrusion, drying and sintering.
The silicon powder produced by silicon material has appropriate particle size distribution, which makes the honeycomb ceramic products have high yield in molding and sintering and good thermal stability.
Silicon micro powder is gray, spherical and very fine. The smallest particle is less than 0.01um, with an average particle size of 0.1-0.3um. It is easy to form loose blocks at room temperature. It has high cementitious property and adsorption capacity. It is widely used in Hydropower Engineering, refractory, highway, bridge, tunnel, chemical ceramics, rubber and other industries.
Silicon powder production process;
There are two production processes of angular silicon powder: dry grinding and wet grinding;
1) Dry grinding production process: it is to grind the raw materials of silicon micro powder in ball mill or vibrating mill. The grinding process can continuously feed and discharge, or input several weight raw materials at one time and discharge after continuous grinding for several times; When discharging, the particle size shall be controlled by the micro powder classifier. The coarse products shall be returned to the mill for regrinding or as products, and the fine products shall be products.
In dry grinding, the moisture of the materials into the grinding shall be strictly controlled, and the products will no longer be dry.
2) Wet grinding production process: put several weight silicon powder raw materials into the ball mill at one time, add an appropriate amount of water, and the operating concentration is 65% ~ 80%; After continuous grinding for more than ten hours, pour out the slurry, use the pressure filtration method or put it in the barrel for natural precipitation and dehydration to obtain the wa |
